Its limits range from I-95 and NE 2nd Avenue on the east to NW 47th and on the west, from NW 57th Avenue to 151st Street; on the north to 151st Street; and on the south, from the Broward County line to 151st Street., and from the Broward County boundary on the north to 151st Street on the south. The city’s name is derived from one of the area’s principal thoroughfares, Miami Gardens Drive.
